These annual check-ups include cholesterol and diabetes checks, lifestyle advice and medication reviews. The clinics are held on Monday mornings and afternoons. Quit Smoking clinics are conducted by the nurses. Questionnaires are available at reception to assess patients commitments to stop smoking. Practical help and encouragement along with nicotine replacement/Zyban therapy has shown to produce good success rates. |
