REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

Please allow 2 working days for us to process your request.  We prefer you to send or drop off the computer generated slip on which you should tick the item/s required. 

There is a special box in the entrance porch for these slips and a dedicated letter box in the staff entrance door in the car park.

We can only post prescriptions back to you if you enclose a stamped SAE.

We accept fax but not telephone requests for repeat prescriptions as this could result in mistakes.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTION COLLECTION SERVICE

We can also offer you the service of having your signed repeat prescription collected, from the surgery, by the pharmacy of your choice.

 To nominate the pharmacy please put a tick beside your choice on the prescription re-order slip, the system will then be set up for you, please allow at least 48 hours for the prescription to be processed.

 PLEASE NOTE

• Repeat prescriptions still need to be ordered in the same way as at present.

• Once a pharmacy has been nominated we ask you not to change your nomination, without good reason.

• The system will not operate if your re-order slip contains a message from your Doctor indicating that your medication needs to be reviewed, unless this review has been carried out.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTION DELIVERY  SERVICE

It is now possible to nominate 'Pharmacy 2 U', an independent pharmacy warehouse to arrange collection and free delivery of your Repeat Prescriptions, they have a help line on 0870 787 6210 and full details are at their website pharmacy2U. We will publicise other similar services from pharmacies as they become available.
