How to Make and Cancel an Appointment


Consult online with Station Drive Surgery doctors. 
As well as medical advice, you can use eConsult for:

It may not be necessary for you to attend for an appointment.  You can submit an e-consultation via the link on the home page.  You can submit details about your condition or your administration request and you will receive a response from the practice usually within 24 hours but you will be advised of the timeframe once you have submitted.   

We will ask that you contact the surgery on the day you need to see a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner and we will endeavour to give you an appointment time to either be seen, or talk to a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner on the phone.




Book face-to-face or remote appointments with your GP, nurse or clinician at a time that suits you.

Your details and information are protected by the highest standards of online security, so all you need to worry about is what to do with the spare time you’ve earnt.

If you don't have Patient Access, you can download the NHS app onto a smartphone or tablet - all you need is your NHS number.  Owned and run by the NHS, the NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.
You can use it to:
- book appointments
- order repeat prescriptions
- check your symptoms
- view your medical record
- get advice about coronavirus and other conditions
- register your organ donation decision

All surgeries are run by an appointment system. In addition to our usual appointments we have “same day” bookable appointments that can be booked on the day via our reception team by ringing at 8.30am. We have routine appointments available 08:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday. We also have routine bookable appointments on designated Saturday mornings.

If you have registered for patient access  you can access the appointment system here: Patient Access online system. or by using the NHS App.


If you are new to our practice and would like to register you can do so by completing a simple registration form. You can download this form here: new patient registration form or collect one from our reception team.

Please hand the completed form in to Reception, where you will be given a welcome pack containing further essential information.


Emergency Appointments

We are really keen to provide the best possible access. Once all the available “same day” appointments are booked we have a “Duty Doctor” available. Any urgent appointment request is passed to the Duty Doctor who will call you back as soon as possible and then arrange treatment options which may include a review on the day, an appointment with your usual doctor or advice. Any patient needing advice or review will be called back on the day and decisions made about best treatment options.


Mental Health Appointments

Sandy Russell, our mental health practitioner, and Lauren Harrison, our Psychotherapist, work with people of all ages to try and help find solutions for the challenges that life can create. Please book in directly via our reception team or by using online access.
