Keele University Students
As an accredited teaching practice, we often have Year 5 (final year) and Year 3 Keele medical students with us.
We also have GP registrars with us. GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors who are now specialising in General Practice. For more information about our GP registrars, visit https://www.stationdrivesurgery.co.uk/find-out-about-our-gp-registrars
Feedback from recent Keele University Students show why the training is so valuable:
"The practice was so welcoming and friendly, I felt part of the team very quickly and was able to have strong relationships with all the staff. I was able to spend some times with many of the other staff to understand their roles and to share workloads with the GPs and Nurses as well as having my own protected sessions. An incredible practice with excellent staff that are outstanding in what they do". (March 2020)
“To all the fantastic staff here at Station Drive, Thank you for making me feel so welcome from Day 1. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 10 weeks with you all. You all do a fab job and especially at the moment! Keep going! Your teamwork and kindness will get you through! Future students lucky enough to come here will have a great time. I have enjoyed myself thoroughly, learnt lots, and just had a great time so thank you ALL. Keep smashing it! Thanks again.” (November 2020)
