C-Card is back – and better!
The C-Card, if you’ve not heard of it, is a card that gives people quick and easy access to free condoms.
Free condoms and lube: In Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. Anyone aged 13 or over in Shropshire can use the service.
- If you are aged 13 to 16, you need to be registered in person by a trained Health Care Professional. This can be done at any of the distribution sites (currently including Lunts, the Youth Centre, and Station Drive Surgery).
- If you are aged 16 or over you can register in person as above but, you also have the option of registering online. There is no upper age limit anymore.
Registering is completely confidential and only takes 10-15 minutes. We are pleased to let you know our ANP Kate has been trained and is able to provide this registration process.
Kate will be at the Youth Centre in Ludlow when the Open Clinics are being held there. She will also be available at Station Drive Surgery so you can drop in for a chat and registration.

This service not just Station Drive patients!
It is for all of Ludlow. You can come on your own or in a group – Kate will happily chat it all through with you and answer any questions you may have. You can bring your parent/guardian(s) if you want or Kate is happy to chat with any parents who may have questions – just drop in on the dates below, no appointment needed.
We know it can be embarrassing but it is so important to make sure you are informed and protected, safe and aware of all the local services to support you surrounding sexual health.
