Men's Health Clinics
Station Drive Surgery and Bishops Castle Medical Practice are launching Men's Health Clinics. The clinics are dedicated to making it easier for men to access healthcare.
Last year, the government launched a Men's Health Strategy on International Men's Day, setting out comprehensive action to tackle the physical and mental health challenges men and boys face every day.
Our clinics are designed to help for men who:
- find it difficult to attend the surgery in a booked slot
- may not have been to the surgery recently but need a check up with a GP
- have been putting off seeking help but would benefit from speaking to a GP
- have mental or physical health concerns
The walk-in clinics are held on the first Tuesday of each month from 6pm until 8pm and they are designed to help for men who fit the above criteria. Please do come along if it applies to you!
These clinics are not just for our own patients - they will be run with PCN funding which means all patients registered in the South West Shropshire PCN surgeries can attend.
